Circulatory Health

The first study, published in International Angiology, was a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving 100 patients (42 men and 58 women) over a six-week period to test if the veno-active flavonoid compound (in this case diosmin) could increase capillary resistance. At the end of the six-week period, there was a significant improvement in the patient group taking diosmin. The conclusion was that at a daily dose of 1000mg, the diosmin significantly increased capillary resistance in patients with abnormal capillary fragility without any significant side effects.
