> Circulatory Health > Hemorrhoids > Diabetes Hemorrhoids In the second study, published in Angiology: The Journal of Vascular Disease, diosmin was compared to placebo in a double-blind trial to test the efficacy in the treatment of acute and chronic symptoms of hemorrhoids. The two-month trial, consisting of 54 men and 66 women, concluded that diosmin was a favorable treatment for hemorrhoids, and when used at the stages at which hemorrhoids are usually observed, did not interfere with other therapies.
